Hi, I’m Carmen, the designer behind Coy Design!
My journey into stationery and event design began with a love for art and a very personal story.
I grew up in Texas and studied political science in Seattle, but life led me back home when my little brother, Cline Coy, was battling leukemia. In his honor, I named my business Coy Design; a tribute to the strength, resilience, faith and joy he embodied every day.
After college, I spent four years in the corporate world, but it wasn’t until planning my own wedding that I rediscovered my passion for design. With a short engagement and limited vendor options, I created my own invitations, signage, and stationery and in the process, reawakened my childhood love for doodling, watercolor, and creativity.
Through Coy Design, I now get to share that passion with others. I create beautifully crafted invitations and stationery for weddings and celebrations of all kinds. Along with the help of my incredible husband and supportive family and friends, every piece is made with the intention of adding beauty, personality, and joy to life’s most meaningful moments.
